Body Checking Clinic – FULL WEEKEND SERIES

Description

Designed specifically for 2012 & 2013 born players entering contact hockey — or those wanting a refresher as playoffs continue and tryouts approach.

This program teaches athletes how to give and receive contact properly, safely, and confidently heading into next season.

What We’ll Cover:
✅ Body positioning & leverage
✅ Angling & gap control
✅ On-ice awareness before contact
✅ Giving & receiving checks safely
✅ Board play & finishing contact properly

Session Structure:
1 Hour — Body Checking Skill Development
1 Hour — Controlled Contact Scrimmage

(No open-ice “blow ups.” Contact is structured, progressive, and fully supervised with emphasis on technique and safety.)
