Dave Marshall

Owner, Pure Edge Skate Sharpening

Pure Edge Skate Sharpening was founded in 2011 by Dave Marshall partnering with Ralph Moulton operating the Canadian Tire Pro Shop at the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC) In 2013 Dave assumed full ownership of the Pro Shop and became a member of Maximum Edge® a Professional skate sharpening, profiling, and maintenance supplier to over 300 teams in North America and Europe including the NHL, AHL, OHL.

WHAT WE DO

The Maximum Edge® training has brought a Pro Level of Skate care to the Cobourg area and beyond allowing us to collaborate with our customers to determine the proper ROH and Profile works best for each and every customer and their level of play. We Provide all aspects of Skate Sharpening, Profiling and Skate Repair, we sell replacement skate blades from all the top manufacturers as well as a fully stocked Pro shop with tape, laces and more.

WHAT HAS CHANGED

In May of 2024 Pure Edge Skate Sharpening became part of Puck-It Pro Shops and Development with Adam Holzman and Jacob Taylor becoming the new owners, together we will continue to provide the same great service and expertise that all our customers have experienced over these last 13 years.

Adam Holzmann

Co-owner, PUCK—IT Development

Adam Holzmann is a seasoned hockey professional with a rich background in scouting, management, and development. His career includes scouting roles at the JrC, JrA, and professional levels, including the ECHL. With a deep expertise.  His commitment to hockey is further enhanced by his studies in Sports Analytics and Essentials at Columbia University. In addition to his role at PUCK—IT, Adam serves as the General Manager of the Cobourg Cougars (OJHL) and as an Ontario Scout for the Rapid City Rush (ECHL).
